idkdo is designed to minimise personal data collection as much as possible.
Generation data
Age, interests, budget and occasion entered in the form. This data is used solely to generate gift ideas and displayed in the browser. It is not stored on our servers.
Analytics data
We may collect anonymised audience data (pages visited, referral source) for statistical purposes. No personally identifiable data is collected.
3. Third-party Services
idkdo uses technical providers for content generation and hosting. These providers process data strictly within the scope of their role and in compliance with applicable regulations. No personally identifiable data is shared with third parties for advertising or commercial purposes.
4. External Links
Links to partner merchants redirect to third-party websites with their own privacy policies. idkdo does not receive personal data about users via these links.
5. No Account, No Storage
idkdo creates no user accounts and stores no personal data in a database. Generated results are stored temporarily in your browser (sessionStorage) and disappear when the tab is closed.
6. Your Rights
In accordance with the GDPR and the revised Swiss LPD, you have the right to access, rectify, delete and port your data. Since we do not store any personally identifiable data, these rights are primarily exercised with third-party providers.

All communications between your browser and idkdo are encrypted via HTTPS/TLS. Access keys to third-party services are stored server-side only.
